I’m on a mission to share my love of Nordic skiing with literally anyone who will listen (seriously, just ask my friends). I’ve been skiing ever since I was a little girl, when my Dad shaved the fish scales off my first pair of classics to turn them into skate skis.

Meet Gina, our ever-smiling yogi and health coach who returned for her fourth Sisu Ski Retreat in 2025. When she’s not on her mat, you can find Gina having mid-run dance parties (or leading retreats in Bali). We always look forward to trying to match her infectious energy!

We were thrilled to have longtime friend Dora join us once more at Sisu Ski Retreat Washington in 2025! Dora is the owner of Spira Power Yoga and brings a wealth of knowledge and strength to our weekend in Mazama.

We are so excited to have had Marily assist with ski coaching in Colorado in 2025! A Grand County native, Marily’s dad actually helped put up the Social Club at Latigo Ranch. The family legacy lives on!

The George Family
The George Family are our hosts at Latigo Ranch in Colorado, and we could never do Sisu without them. Pictured here is Randy, who grooms the 50 km of ski trails. In 2020, Randy drove his cat for 8 hours straight on Saturday morning to groom in the 30” of fresh snow we received.
